Collections
From CTRNet Wiki
In ATiM, collections regroup specimens, samples and aliquots. Usually, a collection is created every time a participant gives samples.
Two types of collections exist.
- Participant collection
- A collection having this type is linked to a participant. (Or is intended to be linked to a participant.)
- Independent collection
- A collection having this type cannot be linked to a participant. This type is used by collections created from samples received from anonymous participants or other laboratories, where participant data is not available.
Copying collection form and links
Because a participant samples might not be taken at the same time, it's often required to created many collections linked to the same participant, diagnosis and consent. To make that task easier, it's possible to duplicate a collection form and links to participant, diagnosis and consent.
- Reach a collection you wish to copy the info and links.
- Click "Copy for new col." button.
- Alter the form as you need.
- Specify the links you wish to copy.
- Submit.
