Create a new participant
All information collected in Clinical Annotation must be related to a participant. Therefore, it is the first entity that must be created before any additional information can be added.
To access the Clinical Annotation module select 'Clinical Annotation' in the main menu, or click the Clinical Annotation shortcut header icon.
You should now see the Participant search screen. Here you can add a new participant by clicking the Add button in the action bar. It is recommended to first search the system to see if your participant already exists. To do this fill out the search form first and click submit. If no results are returned, click Add instead.
After selecting the Add button from either the search form (or search results) you should see the add form. Fill out as much information as possible and click on submit to save your data.
